These are photos of dirty evaporator coils. Mostly this is the result of not changing the air filter at all, or not changing it timely. Dirty evaporator coils such as these cause the air conditioning to not cool off the home, or cause freezing up of the air conditioning system, causing loss of cooling, high energy usuage, air conditioning system running all day. Air filters must be changed regularly in Texas for proper cooling and to avoid dirty / restricted evaporator coils. Many times these cannot be properly cleaned & must be replaced, which is expensive.
